Kadaga Commissions 12Km of Pallisa Town Roads and Saka Bridge

The First Deputy Prime Minister and former Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, officially commissioned vital infrastructure projects in Pallisa on Thursday 10th, April. The projects include 7.5 kilometers of upgraded roads within Palisa town and the Saka Bridge, which spans 4.5 kilometers, connecting Pallisa to Kaliro district.


During the commissioning ceremony, Kadaga, representing the President of Uganda, commended Arab Contractors for their efficient work on these projects. She emphasized the importance of these new road links and the bridge in facilitating trade and enhancing economic activities for local communities.

 

Kadaga encouraged residents of both Palisa and Kaliro to leverage these developments for business purposes, which could significantly contribute to their household incomes.


Salah Rwadan, the General Manager of Arab Contractors, expressed gratitude to the Ugandan government for entrusting them with the projects. He assured commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in their work, fostering continued collaboration for future infrastructural developments across the country.
