NGORA– Okello John Michael has been declared the NRM (National Resistance Movement) District Chairman for Ngora, securing a decisive victory in a peaceful and fairly conducted election. This marks Okello's second term in office.
The official results, announced by Ngora NRM district Registrar David Okiror, saw Okello garnering an impressive 282 votes. His closest competitor, Charles Ogwel, received 89 votes, while Herbert Olupot trailed with just 3 votes.
An elated Okello John Michael addressed supporters immediately after the announcement, expressing his gratitude for their unwavering support. "I thank God and the people of Ngora who have stood with me throughout," he said. "This is not just my win, but a victory for all who believe in progress and good leadership."
Looking ahead to his second term, Okello emphasized his commitment to serving the people of Ngora. "Our journey continues. I'm ready to serve, monitor, and make sure every Ngora citizen feels the impact of government programs," he stated.
