Ngora District is drowning in grief following the passing of Hon. Stella Apolot Isodo, the Woman Member of Parliament whose life was a living testimony of humility, sacrifice, and selfless service. From villages to trading centers, tears continue to flow as the people struggle to come to terms with the loss of a leader many lovingly called a mother of the people.

In a deeply emotional message, Ngora County Member of Parliament, Hon. Juliet Achayo Lodou, poured out her heart, describing Hon. Isodo as a rare gift to Ngora—one whose leadership was anchored in compassion, courage, and unwavering commitment to justice.

“Hon. Stella Apolot Isodo lived for her people,” Hon. Achayo said. “She was humble, fearless, and selfless. She stood firmly for women, for children, and for the voiceless. Her heart beat for Ngora, and her service was guided by love, not position.”

Hon. Achayo noted that the late legislator’s leadership was defined by quiet strength and deep wisdom. Whether in Parliament or among ordinary citizens, Hon. Isodo carried herself with grace, always listening, always caring, and always ready to act in the best interest of her people.

“Ngora has lost more than a leader,” Hon. Achayo said in anguish. “We have lost a pillar, a counselor, a mother, and a true servant of the people. Her voice was firm but compassionate, and her absence leaves a silence that words cannot fill.”

As news of her passing spread, the district was plunged into mourning, with residents recounting stories of how Hon. Isodo personally intervened in times of hardship, advocated for justice, and stood with the vulnerable when no one else would.

Despite the pain, Hon. Achayo urged the people of Ngora to find strength in the legacy left behind by the fallen MP—a legacy built on integrity, sacrifice, and tireless service.

“Though her earthly journey has ended, the values she lived for will continue to guide us,” she said. “Her work, her love, and her example will never die.”

Offering prayers to the bereaved family and the entire district, Hon. Achayo called upon God to grant comfort and peace during this heartbreaking moment.

Quoting 2 Timothy 4:7, she said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” She added that these words capture the life of Hon. Stella Apolot Isodo—a woman who fought for her people and served faithfully until the end.
