SOROTI CITY – Lovers of old-school music and vintage fashion are set for a memorable trip down memory lane as Vintage Invasion, a new entertainment event celebrating the golden era of music and culture, makes its debut in Soroti next year.
Scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Strikers Club Soroti, the event is expected to attract partygoers from across the region seeking a nostalgic nightlife experience centered on timeless music, classic fashion, and unforgettable memories.
Organized by Club Strikers Soroti in collaboration with Dope Gang Deejays, the inaugural edition will be held under the theme "Great Old Times, Great Vibes," reflecting the organizers' ambition to revive the sounds, style, and atmosphere that defined previous generations.
To complement the theme, attendees will be required to observe a Classic Old School dress code, with organizers encouraging guests to embrace vintage-inspired outfits that capture the spirit of the era being celebrated.
The event will be hosted by renowned entertainer DJ Big Swazz, who will lead a lineup of talented performers and disc jockeys including DJ Ceaser, DJ Yung Swag, DJ Paul, DJ Ijo, MC Long John, and EM Chris.
The team is expected to deliver a carefully curated selection of classic hits and crowd favorites that defined some of the most memorable periods in the music industry.
According to the organizers, Vintage Invasion is more than just a party. It is an opportunity for different generations to connect through music and shared experiences while appreciating the rich entertainment culture that has shaped the region over the years.
The launch of the event comes at a time when Soroti's entertainment industry continues to grow, with promoters increasingly introducing unique concepts aimed at diversifying nightlife experiences and attracting wider audiences.
Entry to the event will cost UGX 20,000, with each ticket accompanied by a complimentary bottle of beer. A premium Gold Table package accommodating five people will also be available at UGX 350,000.
