National Unity Platform President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has cried out on his continued house arrest. He highlighted that they are running out of food and security forces are not allowing in any person to access him.
“Day six under house arrest and we’re still stuck with an 18month old baby. Her dad had brought her to visit her auntie (Barbie) just before we were raided and besieged, he was blocked from picking her up.
We have completely run out of food and milk yet no one is allowed to leave or come into our home.’ – Bobi Wine said through his Facebook post.
However much the electoral commission announced Museveni as the president elect, NUP refused to accept the results claiming that the elections were not free and fair and this still could be the reason as to why Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert is still on house arrest together with his wife Barbra Kyagulanyi and the young girl.
Police has also sealed off NUP party headquaters in Kamwokya and no one is allowed to enter the premises.
