FDC’s Attan Moses Okia whose victory was today 31st August nullified by Soroti High Court has asked his supporters to stay calm and wait for the final decision.
While having an interview with this website, Attan said that Aloet and Opiyai have voters who will decide once they go for elections.
‘’But this not the last court also in our opinion and we are not worried to fight a long battle, If it requires an election to be redone if our lawyers agree’’ Attan said
He further added that he is more than ready and they are not scared and not cowards in that aspect.

By press time, we were not able to get a comment from Ariko who is in Rome for official duties.
In a ruling made by Lady Justice Anne Mugengyi, the election which was conducted was illegal as the declaration of the 1st respondent (Attan) as a directly elected Member of Parliament by the 2nd respondent (E.C) is annulled and a fresh election to be conducted by the 2nd respondent (E.C) in a legally constituted constituency.
In her ruling, she also added that the 1st respondent was not validly elected as a Member of Parliament and costs awarded to the Petitioner and payable by both respondents.
