As pressure for votes intensifies in Soroti city east, the top leadership of the NRM party includes Vice President Jessica Alupo and Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja Several ministers including Gen Jeje Odongo (Foreign Affairs), Musa Ecweru (State Minister, works), Peter Ogwang (State Minister for sports), Hellen Adoa (State Minister, Fisheries) Kenneth Obote Ongalo (Teso Affairs), national party mobilizers among others have camped in Soroti city east to hunt for votes for the NRM candidate.
The team has since been moving to different city wards urging voters to vote for the NRM candidate who will work with the government and bring services closer to the people.
The vice president Jessica Alupo while meeting with journalists yesterday Sunday 24th, July at Eneku village urged the media to be balanced while carrying out their duties and promote government programs that will benefit the people.
Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja also held a series of meetings with several special interest groups in the field where she appealed to the voters to send a representative who will not leave them out but instead bring in improved services.
