New Developments for 2024
New Age Cap: This year’s championship will feature players aged 25 and under, ensuring that the next generation of football stars gets their chance to shine.
Increased Professionalism: The introduction of Technical and Arbitration Committees, composed of experienced sports officers and stakeholders, will guarantee a smooth and transparent tournament. Say goodbye to chaos—this will be the most organized edition yet!
Licensing for All Players: Every athlete will be licensed, ensuring a fair, professional, and high-standard competition.
With 16 teams from across the region, fierce competition is guaranteed as they battle to bring glory to their constituencies. Divided into four groups, the matchups are sure to deliver jaw-dropping plays and intense rivalries:
Group A: Katakwi, Kapelebyong, Amuria, Soroti District
Group B: Serere, Kalaki, Kaberamaido, Soroti City
Group C: Kumi District, Ngora, Bukedea, Kumi Municipality
Group D: Tororo, Butebo, Pallisa, and the debut of Kachumbala
