Once celebrated for her boldness, charisma, and unmatched journalistic prowess, Caroline Nyanga — popularly known as CNN — was a force in the media world. From interviewing A-list musicians, actors, and business moguls to hosting high-profile events, Caroline was at the peak of her career. With a house, a car, a bus, and half a million shillings earned from a single concert, she was living the dream. But that dream quickly turned into a nightmare.

In a soul-baring interview with Afrimax, a popular YouTube channel known for documenting powerful life stories, Caroline revealed the chilling journey that led to her tragic downfall — a journey she now believes began with an innocent but dangerous decision: engaging with the spiritual world in the name of journalism.

“I was initiated unknowingly,” she confessed. “From there, everything changed. I lost everything.”

It all started when Caroline was assigned to cover stories that involved witch doctors, traditional healers, and unexplained phenomena. Unlike her colleagues who feared diving into the world of the supernatural, Caroline embraced it with curiosity and courage. But that courage led her to a place of no return.

She recalls her first spiritual interview vividly — one that, unbeknownst to her, involved communicating directly with evil spirits. What followed was a bizarre series of events that included rituals she didn’t fully understand. One of the most terrifying moments was when she was injected with chicken blood in a spiritual ritual by someone claiming to "protect" her from harm.

“I was told it would give me power,” she said. “But it marked the beginning of my torment.”

Caroline's descent into spiritual confusion wasn’t instant. It was a series of missteps. Her exposure to spiritual practices began during her university days in India, where she pursued degrees in Public Administration, Political Science, Psychology, and Journalism. She was young, curious, and unaware of the spiritual implications of her actions. At times, she joined friends in worshipping at temples with idols and statues — thinking it was harmless.

After a severe accident in India that left her with broken bones and led to multiple surgeries and blood transfusions, Caroline believed she had been spared for a reason. She gave her life to Christ, but she admits her commitment at the time was not genuine — it was born of desperation.

The surgeries, trauma, and ongoing spiritual battles took a toll on her body and spirit. She later suffered from unexplained bleeding for five months. Doctors recommended removing her uterus, but she refused. Instead, she turned to prayer, and miraculously, the bleeding stopped after a man of God prayed for her.

When she returned home, she expected to rebuild her life. But nothing worked. Her finances dried up, opportunities disappeared, and her once-thriving media career crumbled. She lost her home, vehicles, and the fortune she had worked so hard to build.

Caroline believes her downfall wasn’t natural — it was spiritual. In chasing stories others were too afraid to tell, she opened herself to dark forces she couldn't control.

“People don’t believe in these things until it happens to them,” she warns. “Witchcraft is real. Evil spirits are real. If you are not spiritually grounded, you can be destroyed.”

Today, Caroline is a born-again Christian, a mother of two, and a voice for the voiceless. She shares her story not to gain sympathy, but to warn others.
