In a powerful show of support for development-focused leadership, Isaac Orego, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) parliamentary aspirant for Soroti City East, delivered a compelling message of transformation during a joint party rally held at Soroti Public Gardens.
Addressing hundreds of enthusiastic supporters, campaign team leader Ekungu John Omaido spoke on Orego’s behalf, describing him as a results-driven leader who is fully committed to improving the livelihoods of the people in Soroti City East.
“Orego is not waiting for the title of Member of Parliament to begin serving. He has already been actively involved in community development, supporting churches, helping vulnerable groups, and initiating livelihood programs across the division,” Omaido stated.
Orego’s campaign is built around three core pillars: improved service delivery, infrastructure development, and access to quality healthcare and education.
Omaido emphasized that Orego’s vision is to ensure that every citizen in Soroti City East can benefit from government-run services, particularly health facilities.
“Isaac Orego is determined to close the service delivery gap in our division,” Omaido added. “His mission is to make sure that government hospitals are functional, accessible, and adequately equipped to serve the needs of the people.”
In addition to healthcare, Orego has prioritized upgrading the education sector. His proposals include investing in school facilities, supporting teachers, and ensuring that students have access to learning resources. He has also shown commitment to improving the division’s infrastructure, such as roads and public amenities, which he believes are key to unlocking economic opportunities in the region.
According to Omaido, Orego represents a new generation of leadership grounded in community engagement and guided by the needs of the people. “He listens, he acts, and most importantly, he delivers,” he said.
The rally, which brought together local leaders, NRM supporters, and community members, marked a significant milestone in Orego’s campaign trail, reinforcing his growing popularity and credibility as the candidate of choice.
As the 2026 general elections draw nearer, Isaac Orego’s message of tangible, people-centered service delivery continues to resonate across Soroti City East. Supporters were urged to stand firmly behind the NRM and vote for Orego to secure a brighter, more prosperous future for the region.
