Musicians Jose Chameleon and Weasel Manizo have been summoned to appear before music producers governing body known as Audio Producers association Uganda (APAU) over accusations of torture and violence against their members.
It's alleged that Weasel Manizo and his friends last month stormed City Jam Studios owned by Goddy Genis and Vandalised property worth millions of shillings.
In a similar incident, Producer Diggy Baur also alleges that singer turned politician Jose Chameleon attacked his Luwafu based Sabula Records this week assualting him and other staff of the studio.
In a letter issued for the singers, who are also brothers, APAU expressed concern over the rising violence and brutality inflicted on it's members by upset singers over unclear reasons.
"We, therefore, call upon Mr. Jose Chameleone and Mr. Weasle to contact Audio Producers Association Uganda (APAU) management through the contacts above for an arbitration meeting before 12th July 2020. APAU's Letter read
