President Museveni on Saturday installed Chief Justice Emeritus Dr. Benjamin Odoki as the Chancellor for Lira University and Prof Dr. Jasper Ogwal-Okeng as the Vice-Chancellor.
He also officiated at the first graduation ceremony of the institution, where one hundred ninety-two (192) students graduated in disciplines of Science and Management.
Museveni congratulated the students and cautioned them to make their life choices wisely, most importantly they should stay alive and healthy if they are to ably contribute to the development of this country.
“I pledge to tarmac the road to the University and the roads in the entire university,” he said.
