Following the announcement, Edopu signed the official NRM declaration form amid celebrations from supporters and party officials. In his acceptance speech, he expressed gratitude to the voters, party leaders, and campaign team.

“I am deeply honored by the confidence placed in me by the people of Dakabela. This is a shared victory, and I pledge to represent our constituency with integrity and vision,” Edopu said.

With the NRM flag firmly in hand, Edopu now advances to the next phase of the political race preparing to face off with candidates from other parties in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
