Soroti City – Celebrated Ugandan artist and vocal powerhouse King Saha lit up Soroti City with a thrilling 30-minute live performance that sent shockwaves through Hyde Park during a star-studded music show organized by Josh Kingdom, one of Teso sub-region’s leading entertainment promoters.
Taking the stage at around 2:00 a.m., King Saha — who is also recognized as one of the vocal supporters of the National Unity Platform (NUP) — delivered an energetic and memorable set that had the entire venue on its feet. The crowd, made up of both ordinary revelers and VIP guests, couldn’t contain their excitement as the artist churned out hit after hit.
Backed by a responsive DJ, King Saha urged fans to move closer to the stage, telling the “ordinary” audience members to come in front. In an unexpected twist, this move dissolved the divide between VIP and ordinary sections as everyone stood together in unity, dancing and singing along to his biggest anthems.
From crowd favorites like Biri Biri, Kiri Bubi, Ebiseera Ebyo, Zakayo, to Kimala and more, Saha kept the energy high, even pausing the music at times to let the fans sing entire choruses — a testament to his deep connection with his audience.
The event was further amplified by performances from some of Teso’s top musical talents including Lyrical Jersey, Richo Ranking, Rody Gavana, among others, making the night a celebration of both local and national music greatness.
The Soroti crowd left Hyde Park buzzing with excitement, with many describing the night as “epic” and “unforgettable.”
Josh Kingdom, the event organizer, hailed the turn-up as one of the biggest the region has witnessed in recent months, hinting at more high-profile concerts in the pipeline.
King Saha’s performance in Soroti not only reinforced his position as one of Uganda’s top live performers but also marked another step in bridging the entertainment gap between Kampala and upcountry regions.
